Free wine and liquor! I guess that’s a good way to draw in a crowd.
I’ve passed the Evanswood Village Shops a whole bunch of times when I was driving down US-10. This time, I decided to stop and check out this old fashioned-styled mini-town that had a bunch of shops and would advertise free alcohol on billboards.
The parking lot wasn’t too full, so I could see we definitely beat the crowds.
The first store that we visited was Puddy’s Dream. One side of the store was unique antiques and the other side of the store contained a bunch of good Wisconsin foods.
We then walked over to Brass Butterfly Cabin Decor, which had a lot of cool things to decorate a house with.
Our last stop was Wild Grape Wine Company. This is where the free alcohol (samples) were. I was driving, so I didn’t partake in any of the sampling, but I can say it was one of the fanciest liquor stores I’ve ever seen!
After buying a little liquor for later, we headed back out to the car. I snapped a few pictures along the way.
This was a cool little old-fashioned shopping center to visit. I think if I’m ever passing through the area, I might stop by again. There’s a lot of cool stuff there, including food and alcohol.
