Shipwreck Grill, Bryan, TX

Almost every time Victoria and I would visit Bryan, we’d drive past this cool restaurant that is shaped like a boat. It’s obvious it’s a seafood restaurant, but I love how they play up the design of the restaurant with this boat. I knew I had to visit and put the place on my list of places to visit. For our Christmas trip to Bryan, we decided we’d drop by.

The place was packed. That’s always a good sign that food is good. It was so packed we had to go to the deck area outside. Luckily they had a heater going to keep things warm.

The menu had a lot of tempting seafood. With the Cajun spices on the table, I knew I was in for a treat!

We ordered and then I checked the wifi. The speeds were pretty decent.

For appetizers we got Shrimp Diablo and Boudin Balls.

The Shrimp Diablo packed a nice bacony spice. The Boudin Balls were fried to Cajun perfection! The next food brought out was the main course. Being the seafood and shrimp lover I am, I got a Shrimp Boat Basket.

Victoria doesn’t like seafood as much so she got the Blackened Chicken. It appeared to be nice and healthy with the vegetables on the side.

The food was great! I haven’t been to a seafood restaurant in a while, so this really hit the spot. The food went down well and it was enough food to leave me pleasantly full. The service was also great. Tanaysha was our server and she was awesome! If I’m in Bryan and craving seafood, I’ll have to stop by again!
