One thing that sucks about global warming is it is really messing with the weather. I've lived long enough and traveled enough to see the impact it's having. I know me driving a ton of miles isn't helping, but I'm not stupid enough to deny what is going on. This year was going to be the first "brown" winter in a long time.
When I got to my parent's house on December 19th, this is what their yard looked like due to the record-setting temperatures.
Thankfully it snowed on December 23rd so on Christmas it looked like this.
I'm happy that it's now white outside and has cooled off a bit (or by Texas standards is very cold). It's definitely fun to play around in the snow and ultimately have a white Christmas. Anyways, Merry Christmas!
